Boundary controlled irreversible port-Hamiltonian systems

چکیده

Boundary controlled irreversible port-Hamiltonian systems (BC-IPHS) defined on a 1-dimensional spatial domain are by extending the formulation of reversible BC-PHS to thermodynamic at boundaries their domain. The structure BC-IPHS has clear physical interpretation, characterizing coupling between energy storing and dissipating elements. By definition boundary port variables deal with dissipation, set such that passive respect given conjugated inputs outputs. As for finite dimensional IPHS, first second laws Thermodynamics satisfied as structural property system. Several examples illustrate proposed approach.
